COVID 19 UPDATE STEP 4 - from Coronavirus (COVID-19): guidance and support - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
Coronavirus remains a serious health risk. You should stay cautious to help protect yourself and others.
Please read the below COVID19 rules with regard to procedure and payment and please keep to the new 2 metre rule.
Please read the following with regard to procedure and payment.
COVID19 Social Distancing and procedure:
Arrive at the carpark and leave as much space between cars as possible. Please no shaking hands or close contact. Keep 2mtrs (23 June - updated to 1+ metres) apart at all times. Stay at the rear of your motor and unload tackle. Martin will then pick pegs for you. As pegs are chosen the person puts their money in a container at the back of Martin’s car and then proceeds directly to your peg. Then the next person is picked and follows the same procedure. So please have money ready to keep things moving. £20 no change given.
Once you are at your peg you must stay there and not walk to the person either side of you or around the lake. You must stay at your peg at all times.
At the end of the match 2 nominated scalesmen will come and weigh your catch. You will take your net and put fish into the weighsling. You then step back 2mtrs and the scalesmen will take over and after weighing return your fish to the water for you. Please then pack up and make your way back to your car, keeping 2 mtrs away from others returning to the carpark.
Martin will place at the back of his car the winning envelopes and when the winner’s names are called please collect your money one at a time and return to your car.
Martin will be paying the fishery cost by direct bank payment. He will have also made up the envelopes for the placings prior to the day out of Club funds. Once booked in you cannot cancel and you will still be liable to pay the £20 fishing cost.
This is all trial and error but please do your best to keep to social distancing and bring your own cleansing products. Please note we do not know if toilets will be open.
We are trying to do the best we can in difficult circumstances so please bear with us and stay safe.
If you or someone you have had contact with or are showing symptoms of the virus please do not attend any of our matches until any isolation period is complete, currently 14 days as per Government advice.
Stay at home if you have corona virus symptoms
Stay at home if you have either:
• a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
• a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
